Christmas Concert

Show your support and love to children and families in our community through “The Big Give” Drive.

What is it?

We are very excited to offer our very first Christmas Concert here @ The Naz. Who doesn’t like to sing and enjoy Christmas music, right? Not only do we want each person to enjoy themselves through singing, but this concert is designed with an intentional purpose of reaching out and helping families and children in our community who need some financial assistance, as well as, support the Shechem Children’s Home who house survivors of human trafficking.

When is it?

The Christmas Concert will be on Sunday, December 6th at 9:30am, 11:00am, and 5:00pm. You choose which time works for you and your family. Our 5:00pm service will be a "mask only" service to better accommodate those in our community.

Who can come?

Anyone and everyone is welcome to come! We will be offering childcare for children 0-2 years of age during each concert time.

Does it cost anything?

No, the concert doesn’t cost anything. We are asking each person to prayerfully consider giving a love offering to support one of these great causes as we show God’s love to local families in need and help women/children who are survivors of human trafficking.

Do I need to pre-register for the concert?

Yes, we are asking each family to pre-register for which concert time they will be attending. This will help us make sure people can safely social distance at each service and provide adequate childcare for the little ones.

What your money will be supporting!

Your money will not be going to The Naz. Every penny raised will be going to support these great causes. Here are the details about each:

Christmas Help for Families in Need

There are several families and children who are in need of some Christmas help this year. We want to love on these families and provide some Christmas presents for them so they can enjoy this time of the year.

Brighton Area Schools Lunch Department

Brighton Area Schools (BAS) provide a free or reduced breakfast and lunch program for students that qualify. The total debt that families owe for this program has reached nearly $2,000. We would like to bless the families in our local area by removing this one burden from them and paying off all debts owed to the BAS for this program.

The Shechem Children’s Home – Helping children heal after human trafficking

The Shechem Children’s Home (which is a partner of Nazarene Compassionate Ministries) is a short-term placement center for children who are survivors of online sexual exploitation. This is a form of human trafficking where sexual images or videos of children are sold over the internet. It is a growing problem globally and one of the hubs for this is in the Philippines where the Shechem Home is located.
