Women’s Ministry

Looking to connect?

Mission Statement

Women at The Naz are passionate about building authentic relationships, growing in the Word, and connecting as a Christ-centered community.

What We’re About

We support each other by digging deeper into our relationship with Christ and learning to be the women that God calls us to be. You will experience friendship, support, laughter, and being women in action by serving our church and community.

MomCo at The Naz

What Is MomCo?

We are community of moms who desire and crave to have meaningful conversations about the highs and lows of motherhood and parenting.

MomCo groups provide a relaxed atmosphere for moms to connect and talk about topics relevant to motherhood/parenting. A mixture of parenting principles, practical strategies and powerful encouragement, these groups are a great place for moms to learn and grow together! Mothers of all school aged children can attend MomCo at The Naz.

What to Expect:

MomCo includes practical teaching and honest conversations with other moms who understand the joys and frustrations of motherhood. Our meetings will take place twice a month on Tuesdays from 10-12pm. MomCo runs from September to May.

Childcare (ONLY available for Pre-K and under during MomCo):

The MomCo kids program is a preschool-style experience your kids will love. Led by amazing volunteers, your kids will be loved and cared for so you can enjoy a few hours of rest! Please note that childcare is available ONLY for the children who you register ahead of time. Our space is limited so it is first come, first served (so don’t wait to sign up).

Men’s Ministry

When a man leads, the family follows!

We believe in three things; leading at home, leading at church, and leading in the community. When a man leads, the family follows.

Men’s Small Groups

We believe that we become more like Jesus as we grow in our knowledge of the Word and live in a community with other believers. Our Men’s Small Groups focus on building relationships with one another, teaching and discussing God’s Word, and living missional lives as we invest in the community around us. If you’re feeling stuck and aren’t sure about your next step, a small group might be just what you need.

Young Adult Ministry (18 – 30ish yrs.)

Read About a Young Adult Named Elisha

Look to Scripture:

Throughout the book of 1 Kings, the life and story of the Prophets Elijah and Elisha are fascinating! Elijah listened and obeyed the still small voice of God (19:12-16) and did as He directed him to do. Elijah departed from the cave and found a young adult man named Elisha (19:19). It seems Elijah knew he needed a friend and apprentice during the next phase of his journey! Does this feel or sound familiar? Are you searching to fill a void in your life?

Elisha was at work when Elijah dramatically commissioned him – he was living his best life! But at that moment, Elisha decided to explore a new identity in Christ – literally! As you unpack this call on the life of Elisha, it was not Elijah who called him, it was God! It was Elisha who chose to follow God in his own free-will and desire to live his purpose!

We believe God is calling each of us into the divine plan He has created for our lives. Join us on our journey as we look to unite and be faithful friends with you as an emerging Young Adult!

As a part of our core values, we believe that our life together is to exemplify the character of Christ. We are called by Scripture and drawn by grace to worship God and to love Him with our whole heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love our neighbors as ourselves! Matthew 22:37

The vision of our Young Adult Ministry is to take Jesus and His message seriously, accept responsibility, and add value to our lives through practical application of the Gospel in a simple yet supportive way. We choose to live a Christ-centered life that spills over into the way we relax, work, and live, thriving in who God made us to be!

Single Parent Ministry – Alongside

Testimonial Video for Alongside

Hear the heart of this ministry from Pastor Jason Fuller:

Almost one quarter of children in the U.S. under the age of 18 live with one parent and no other adults. These households have unique challenges as single parents try to provide for their children as well as themselves. This ministry seeks to provide physical, emotional, and spiritual assistance for these families to help them thrive in their homes and God’s Kingdom.

John 13:34 “Just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.”

Mission of Alongside?

The purpose and mission of Alongside is to bring agape love into the single parent home through four key areas…

*Companionship

*Financial Support

*Acts of Service

*Transportation

How you can get involved in Alongside?

There are four main areas for you to get involved in with Alongside. The more people who are willing to help, the more single parent families we can provide assistance to and love on.

Companionship

Being a single parent can often be isolating as attention is focused on the needs of the children and time for self and others is sacrificed. Through ALONGSIDE, we envision pairing people with companions who provide friendship, a listening ear, counsel, skill development, and emotional support which leads to confidence and personal/spiritual growth both for the parent and the child(ren).

Financial Support

Financial needs are common obstacles in any home and can be even more burdensome in a single parent home. This can create enormous pressure and stress on the parent.

Through ALONGSIDE, angel donors and funds raised through ministry events would provide financial assistance to help overcome these obstacles. Consider being a love angel and give today.

Acts of Service

It can be very difficult to keep up with the routine household maintenance while running a single parent household. As things add up, it can become a major source of stress.

ALONGSIDE will strive to use resources we have within the church to be the hands and feet, assisting around the home where possible.

Transportation

Single parent homes often have only one vehicle and one driver yet multiple activities. Car maintenance or coinciding activities often forces them to have to decline invitations or choose and prioritize one activity over another.

Through ALONGSIDE, we envision transportation assistance for the family. The goal is to alleviate the stress of transportation, allowing both the children and the parent to continue their day-to-day activities.
